“The gods envy us. They envy us because we’re mortal, because any moment may be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we’re doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again.” Homer, The Iliad (via katara)

“I see your imagination shimmer in the way that you move, hardly afraid that anyone could see. We’re caught up in the moment, it’s got us now, and you’ve got me by the collar.”

The gym…

That moment when you’re trying to take yourself seriously and drag yourself to the gym…”after I finish watching this” and “after I finish my coffee” and the list goes on, of course. Encountering that problem right nowish. The gym is likely laughing at me and my lazy ass.

Maybe after I’m done this post.

That moment when you’re excited to talk about something and you realize no one gives a shit or they hardly react, leaving you standing there with those crappy feelings.

(Happens to me all the time)

“You wait for that moment. You anticipate the fall-out. Even still…you are shaken to the core.”
“Still waiting for that something to take my life by storm in that awesome, unforgettable kind of way. Maybe it’s great love, maybe it’s meeting someone really cool, maybe it’s a moment where everything becomes ridiculously clear and easy to understand. I want something to be passionate about, because without that, life is rather dull.”

That moment where you’ve been wanting to do something and finally the opportunity knocks, the desire for it disappears.

That moment when you’re really excited to tell someone something awesome/funny/whatever and they have little to no reaction…and you feel like absolute shit and wonder why you even bothered. Yeah.
